I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. Each morning, I enjoyed a traditional yet delicious breakfast that set the tone for a perfect day. The breakfast spread was a delightful mix of authentic local flavors and freshly prepared dishes, truly a treat for the senses. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's onsen. Without a doubt, it was the best onsen experience I've ever had. The water was soothing and impeccably maintained, providing the perfect respite after a day of exploring. The outdoor onsen, in particular, offered a unique charm—immersing myself in the warm, mineral-rich waters while taking in the serene natural surroundings was an unforgettable experience. From the impeccable service to the relaxing ambiance, every aspect of my stay was thoughtfully curated to provide a memorable getaway. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to indulge in a blend of culinary delights and restorative relaxation.

Hotel Sakura Ureshino is a high quality place through and through with attention to detail and beautiful facility. Far exceeded our expectations and was best lodging during our entire trip around Kyushu. Breakfast was outstanding. The natural spring onsen and rotenburo was simply awesome. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here if location and budget work. Being on a Shinkansen stop is actually convenient; just takes a bit of time to walk from station but easy and flat ground. We very much enjoyed will go out of our way to return in the future.

The breakfast is perfect. although there are not too many choices of the dishes, most of the food offered are ureshino dishes, such as the roasted fishes, tofu, 明太子, peach flavor yogurt drink, etc. They taste very nice. And we had roast beef dinner in a restaurant outside the hotel. The onsen on the roof is excellent: good view, hot, and the water is very soft . You will agree with me if you go there. I stayed at a room for 6 (we are a group of 6). The room is spacious enough. The decoration is also new. The price really worth it.

After a months trip in Korea, China and Japan we came to stay at this hidden diamond. This little Onsen town is one of Japan’s best and this hotel was hyper cool. Incredibly authentic and with amazing staff. We were helped by Kundo which did his very best and this gave us the single best experience of our 1 month family trip. The hotel has a fantastic Japanese spa on the top floor. Kubrick provided us with recommendations to where to eat, what to see and visit. We loved it! Thank you! You have our family great memories!

The onsen baths were amazing - one large indoor, 2 outdoors with 2 additional ceramic tubs, and an expansive view of the surroundings. We booked a traditional room, so had to make our own futons which the kids loved helping to set it up. We were travelling the Kyushu region for the last 12 days, and definitely the best hotel breakfast we have had. It’s an old hotel, but it looks like internal renovations were done. A quaint old world feel.. jazz music was in the lobby and at the bath foyer.
